<div>Had a great Saturday. Fish are still actively feeding getting ready for the spawn. Fish are still being caught over most of the lake. The bigger fish bite has slowed down, as they are usually the first to start spawing. We stayed on the move with the bite being pretty consistent from 6am until 11am. Bait was shad, perch, crappie, and bream. Ended our day with 18 total fish a mix of Blues and Channel cats.</div><div><br></div>

Started the day fishing up in the river which yielded some nice fish and plenty of action for us to keep busy. We bounced around the river and the upper reaches of the lake to stay on the hungry fish, the spawn is starting to get close water temp are rising and the Big fish are starting to focus on there yearly spawn. The bite for mid size fish will keep you busy from now until early July when we get into the post spawn fish.  Thanks for stoping buy and have a great day.

pring break started for the kids this week, so what better way to spend the day than chasing catfish on High Rock lake!! Fish have remained consistent on flats adjacent to deeper water today we anchored with really good success and finished the day with 15 blue cats and some smaller channel cats. Live and cut gizzard shad did the trick today. Fishing is only gonna keep getting better before the spawn. We have dates open in April and May if you want to get in on the action. Bait for us today was 12-15ft before daylight in Duck Cove.

Fishing continues to improve it will only get better between now and June.Fish of all species are on the move and the catfish are following. Had a great day in the rain caught 24 catfish. 34 big fish 28, 28 a bunch in the 20s and teens.

Conditions continue to look like a yo yo, Warm ,cold, wet, dry high pressure low pressure,sounds like spring lol. Got out yesterday and everything had moved on me from last week.  Took a few minutes to get a pattern together and tweak it along the way, but managed a good trip with a total of 17 fish, A mix of Blues, Flatheads, and channels. Includes were a 33lb Blue, 25lb flathead, and a 20lb flat head.
